Sep 27, 2026"Only one other table of eight was occupied when we went in early on a Thursday evening. We were offered drinks promptly & the main menu provided. On request we were given the ‘menu del dia’ which we ended up ordering from. Fresh popadoms & pickle tray followed by a very good tandoori king prawn starter as well as a reasonable Star Special mixed pakora starter. We requested a gap between the starters & main courses which was no problem whatsoever. My wife pronounced the white wine by the glass ‘decent’ & the half litres of Mahou Classica were going ‘straight down the hatch’ to the extent that I never ended up ‘double parked’ (courtesy of Sandro Ford). After a suitable time we requested our main courses of king prawn curry & the ubiquitous chicken tikka masala with pilau rice (enough to feed a village of several hundred people) & a freshly cooked garlic naan. The curries were very good with the chicken in a tastier creamier sauce compared to the spicier king prawn curry. Deserts were offered but we settled for coffees followed by complimentary Limoncellos. Very good value at €59.10 for 2 x menu del dia, a garlic naan, 4 x 500ml Mahou & 4 glasses of Vino Blanco, coffees & liquers. Maria Luz was friendly, efficient & helpful whilst we enjoyed our evening - Thank you."
